    To eligible for the PMI-RMP exam, you must need to complete 30 hours of formal education.

    An aspirant to PMI-RMP® certification can appear in the exam if he/she fulfils the following criteria:

    Criterion 1:

    • A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or global equivalent)
    • At least 4,500 hours of your project risk management experience
    • Formal education on risk management (40 contact hours/PDUs ).

    Criterion 2:

    • A four-year bachelor degree or equivalent qualification
    • At least 3,000 hours of project risk management experience
    • Formal education on risk management (30 contact hours/PDUs ).
    • PMI Member: US$ 520.00
    • Non-member: US$ 670

    As a Skilled risk manager, you should be able to

        1. Develop policies, processes, and procedures for risk assessment, planning, and response.
        2. Promote the understanding of project risk management for stakeholders and project team members, Assess stakeholder risk tolerance, priorities project risk, and promote risk ownership.
        3. Conduct and facilitate risk identification, evaluation, prioritization, and response among project team members.
        4. Monitor risks, evaluate risk response against established metrics and communicate risk response performance to stakeholders and project team.
        5. Use quantitative and qualitative tools and techniques as project risk management professionals.

    RMP exam consists of of170 questions that need to be completed in 3.5 hours.

    Are you eligible?

    To be eligible to sit for the CAPM exam, you must fulfill the following requirements: 

    • You must possess a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma, GED (general educational development), or its equivalent recognized globally..
    • Before taking the exam, you need to have completed a minimum of 23 contact hours of project management education. This requirement can be fulfilled through PMI’s online “Project Management Basics” course.

    Possess advanced project leadership experience.

    You could qualify for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
